Some brief impressions
I'm not going to go into detail. I'll do a detailed review tomorrow. Just thought i'd throw some nuggets out for you guys. I got the xbox version from ea.
Controls in this years version for xbox are much better. I still prefer ps2, but now the xbox version is tolerable. you don't use the black and white buttons for anything really. The turbos are the left and right trigger but now the left analog stick, when you push it down (clicK) its another turbo. graphics on xbox are sick. Very nice. no custom soundtrack but the soundtrack on there is pretty cool. One thing that bothers me is that stupid ea sports trax menu pops up in the middle of a game. can get annoying. camera's suck. The default one you cant see the whole court, the wide angle one is too far out, and then there is another one that is way too close. I felt clostrophobic. a lot of extras to fart around with. The create a baller is much more detailed. A lot of options to choose from but a lot of stuff needs to be unlocked with money. There is also create a sneaker and barber shop. ALong with the create a court. The good thing is you get money for doing pretty much anything in the game. dunk contest was alright. I dont know what the hell im doing but it does some cool stuff. Its a lot easier than nba lives, but i be you know how to do half the stuff you perform. Sort of just happens mashing buttons for now. Once i get the hang of it hopefully that improves. __________________ ![]() |

horrible horrible news on the camera angles
why couldn't they just bring back the slide camera they had from last year? How can they not include a camera angle they had last year? This is really questionable. |

yeah after a few games im kind of used to the default camera. I think i hated it at first because the only other b-ball game im playing right is NBA2k4 and that camera is perfect.

Frankly I just sent an email to the EA Store to cancel my order. I'll rent the game and see if I can play as it, but I know I can't in NBA Street 2.
Thanks for the info. |

Who cares about the camera angles, it's the game that matters!
If you don't buy a game because it doesn't have a camera angle you like, you are a retard. __________________ da yanks...
