I got it.
And let me tell you GC users, the Mario "All-Stars" get bored and old the second you tip off with them. What a disapointment (although I don't particularly care). Luigi with a 99 DUNK RATING??? WTF? However, this game is AMAZING!!! The graphics are off the hook, the player models are soo detailed, it's just insane. The courts can be customized down to the teeth, and they look amazing too. The trick stick works so fluently into the game I didn't even notice it, for god's sake. The gamebreakers are pretty cool, although when you miss, the animation doesn't show you much it's kinda stupid. All in all, this could be the best basketball game of the year... Well, I'm back off to playin it, peace... __________________ da yanks...

Picked it up today (XBOX), needless to say I'm dissapointed big time in this game. I honestly think Volume 2 is better. First off, the camera angles as was stated here are HORRID. 3 camera angles? You have to be kidding me, it wouldn't have been so bad if they all didn't suck (yes they suck horribly).
The game plays alot like V2 but it seems to be missing something. Personally I think the players are more "stiff" and non responsive this year. The gamebreakers are the best of the series but overall the gameplay feels like its lacking something. The graphics aren't very impressive to me either, I think that may have to do with the camera angles though. I have played about 6 games so far and I must say I regret picking this game up. It will probably be shelved until FN2 comes along. I have been a big fan of the series since day 1, and all I can say is give this game a rental before you shell out 50 bones for it... |

I'm disappointed
I loved the look of Volume 2, I don't exactly know how to explain but it just seemed better. I can compare to the way some fans were disappointed with the turn the Prince Of Persia series took when they sort of turned him into a badass instead of that "lovable" prince. I still like WW nonetheless but its still the same type of feeling I have to Vol 3. I'm glad I didn't spend the full 50 on it, and traded some games for store credit for it. But damn, I would have kept March Madness 05 over this game I think....jeez |

I dropped by Game Stop after school today and picked mine up for PS2.
I have to say I'm VERY impressed with it. It's all I thought it would be and more. I havent gottent he chance to go very far yet, but so far it's pretty cool. The create a court can be fitted to pretty much anyone's liking, and the CAB gives you so many options it ain't even funny. The dunk contest isn't to hard to get used to and the trick stick is so easy and fun it's unbelievable how well it goes into the game. Best game of the year? Maybe, maybe not. But all I have to say is, WOW. |

first off: NBA Street was one of my fav. which I played to death, I rented Vol. 2 to see how it was and was a dissapointed because the game was so similar to the first. So Vol. 3 is the first time playin nba street in like 2 years
First thing I did was pick the practice mode with Tony Parker and messed around. Its an open court like in Live 2005. The graphics are very nice and I'm glad they are not using the cartoon style for the players. The player models look great and the baggy shorts look pretty nice. I like the courts so far but you only start off with 4 courts. There are 17 total, including the night and day variations. I tryed the slam dunk contest and picked vince carter. I hit zero dunk out of like 3 attempts. It is much easier then Live 2005 though. This is def a fun mode, too bad online only allows 2 player. I'm playing the game on medium and lost my first game(with the Spurs) against the Sonics like 21 to 4. I sucked bad. Second game I lost by 10 to the Wolves then on the 3rd game I beat the Kings by 2. So Im getting better The controls seems very natural to me and I had no problems with them, maybe thats because I play xbox alot more the ps2 though. When using the dunk GB i messed up a couple times when on the 3rd player and blew a 4 point play. When you go online the first you HAVE to do is make a player a create a baller/court. I wanted to do that later but had no choice. You can pick diff kin of players like, prodigy, big man, ankle breaker... The court creator is very deep and there is no need to explain all the features in that So far I like it a lot, I was actually expecting my Circuit City to get the game tommorow but went there anyway to see if they had it and did drop any questions if you want to |
