Tomba's Varsity Level Sliders

Camera
Broadcast
Pitch 2 clicks from zero
Zoom 9 clicks from zero
Tracking Correction Smooth

I've played in all of the camera angles with every possible combination playing full games in each and this setting gave me the best view and the best looking ball/player movement

Game settings

Skill Level Varsity
Half length 11 minutes
Game Speed 38 clicks from zero
Free Throw diff. 50 clicks from zero(the default setting)
Boundary Force Field zero clicks to zero (all the way down)
Injury Freq 100 clicks from zero (all the way up)
Fatigue Effect 100 clicks from zero (all the way up)
Shooting Foul Freq 20 clicks from zero
Reaching In Foul Freq 10 clicks from zero
In Air Collision Freq 43 clicks from zero

USER Settings/CPU Settings

Settings are high/low, but for a reason

Steal 76 / 0
Interception 76 / 0
Shot Block 50 / 0
Freestyle 100 / 100
Dunk Vs. Lay-Up 50 ***User setting only***
Dunk Freq 50 ***CPU setting only***
Substitution Freq 100 ***CPU User setting***
On Ball Defense Assist 100
Off. rebounding 50 / 0
Def. rebounding 50 0
Fakeout Discipline 100 / 50
Short range Shooting 100 / 50
Mid range Shooting 100 / 50
Long Range Shooting 100 / 50
Dunk % 100 / 50
Lay-Up % 100 / 50
Adjusted Shot % 50 / 50
On-Ball Physcial Def. 100 / 0
Poor Release Shot % 100 / 50
Double-Team Effectiveness 50 / 50
Pro-Hop Effectiveness 100 / 75
Drop Step Effectiveness 100 / 100

I've played with many different variations on different game levels and found these settings result in the best gameplay for me. These settings make it fun and even you up once you play the better divisions and schools.

This is my contribution to NCAA March Madness 07

Re: Tomba's Varsity Level Sliders

Hey man I know All-American is pretty tough but why so high on all the human sliders on varsity level?

Isn't it too easy with those sliders maxed out like that on offense for the human. I think after more time with the game you'll start blowing the CPU out on that level.

Anyways I should be posting some sliders later tonight or monday. The frustrating thing is i wish the momentum crap could be turned off because it's way over done on All-American level. Guy's start throwing th ball out of bounds with very little pressure being applied simply because they are rattled I guess.

EA took away half the sliders that were in NBA Live and some of those sliders would have really helped me break this game down much better. I don't why those fools keep doing this stuff. They give you one thing than take something else back. I think the game has ton's of potential for the future but man if they would have just gave more options in this game I would've been really happy. I realize college ball isn't the game and guy's do get rattled but come on they don't throw the damn ball into stands just because they are playing on the road in hostile arena..........

I'm actually going to try these settings on all american and see if i get better sim results. the thing is that EA"amounts" or anything related to sliders are always off and sometimes have NO effect, this way you make sure you get that effect.

i look forward to your sliders the most though why not try doing the sliders in ALL-Conference? I'm actually going to play with my sliders at higher diffculties but for me the reason behind the high sliders is that i wanted a game I could just sit back with and enjoy and overall this is the case. NCAA can't be made into a total sim however you work in NBA Live 07 made it feel more of asim then NBA 2k7 in my opinion. just wished that was the overall case with this game.
But i bet i'll be surprised. I could go and edit these things but it would ONLY be the boundary effect and then the shooting of the User and that would only be by about 30 or so but i would still keep the bad shot % up because I've simmed this game CPU VS CPU and on the default settings they play extremely well. So i had to mimic what i was seeing by making my human attributes comparable to the AI.
