[360] - Crazy Game

I restarted my Illinois Dynasty after I got the Rosters and I played my first game which was against Clemson. Wow this was a crazy good game. I started off good I was sticking with them and even had the lead a couple times but then shots just weren't falling and I started to fall further behind. I ended up falling behind by as many as 10 or 12 can't remember but then Smith and McBride (in because Frazier fouled out) started to light it up. Randle was also starting to contribute as well. We then started to dwindle their lead as the 2nd half started to come near an end. We were down by 4 and started to just exchange baskets with them at about 2 min left. Then with about a minute left we got the lead down to 1 when Clemson turned it over which led to a fastbreak opportunity for Jamar Smith in which he pulled up for 3 and nailed it putting us ahead by 2. They then went down the court got it inside and got a basket and a foul fortunately the guy missed the free throw giving us the opportunity with about 27 seconds left to go take the lead. Ran the clock down to about 15 seconds then tried to get it inside to Carter but he was blocked and they got the ball with about 13 seconds left and called a T.O.. I could only hope they would not go inside because that would mean they might have an easy basket but they settled for an outside jumper which missed sending us into OT. Overtime was not that much of a contest as the end of the 2nd half was. Came out and Smith and McBride hit 3's on the first 2 possessions giving us a 6 pt lead we then just basically took care of the ball from then on and ended up winning I forget the score but it was pretty high not at home so don't have access to my 360 to get the score. What a way to start the season lol.
