"The Swamp" A Florida Gators Dynasty
![]() Settings System: Xbox 360 Game: NCAA Football 08 Difficulty: All-American Rosters: Fairdale King's NCAAF08 Rosters Sliders: None for now This is where I'll be reporting my NCAA Football 08 Florida Gators Dynasty. I'm starting with some background stuff like many people on here, because I'm too anxious to wait and when I get the game I'm not gonna want to have to do all this stuff, as I'll be wanting to get right into the action. If you guys could wait a while before posting, that'd be great. Might take a little while to get everything up. I'm reading some tutorials on how to do things with images and stuff (see season schedule title below) so bear with me. __________________ ![]() 11 consecutive successful field goals Rookie record Last edited by Dolphn : 07-19-2007 at 02:48 AM. |

Re: "The Swamp" A Florida Gators Dynasty
![]() From 2007 Florida Gators Football Preview (Cause I haven't paid enough attention to the Gators' offseason to write my own opinions) Coach: Urban Meyer (3rd year at Florida) Team Name: Gators 2006 Overall Record: 13-1 Returning Starters: 8 The Florida Gators (10- 4 overall, 7- 1 SEC) won everything last season—the SEC East, the SEC and the BCS National Championship game against Ohio State 41- 14. Wow! What can they do for en encore? The Gators have a good chance to take the SEC East title but will be hard pressed to repeat the rest of last season. Look for sophomore QB Tim Tebow (67% COMP, 358 YDs, 5 TDs, 1 INT) to be the starter this season. Coach Urban Meyer, in his second year with Florida, has a simple scheme—match-up his fast receivers against slower defenders and exploit the speed. Senior WR Andre Caldwell (57 REC, 577 YDs, 10.1 AVG, 6 TDs) and sophomore RB Percy Harvin (34 REC, 427 YDs, 12.6 AVG, 2 TD) return as the leading ball catchers. Harvin (41 CAR, 428 YDs, 10.4 AVG, 3 TD) also comes back as the second leading rusher, with Tebow (89 CAR, 469 YDs, 5.3 AVG, 8 TDs) returning as the guy with the most yards on the ground. The Gators scored 29.7 PPG while holding opponents to 13.5 PPG. However, they've had to replace a boatload of talented and experienced players with talented and untested players. Sophomore linebacker Brandon Spikes and freshman DE Lawrence Marsh look ready, while others may or may not be. The good news is that the Gators have a gathering of talented front-seven frosh who look like they're ready to play. In the secondary, senior strong safety Tony Joiner could be all-conference, while the rest are up in the air. The Gators have a short at winning the SEC East. Swing games against LSU and Georgia could change things. The improved South Carolina Gamecocks could pull an upset against the Gators and LSU will be a real tough game to win. __________________ ![]() 11 consecutive successful field goals Rookie record Last edited by Dolphn : 07-13-2007 at 12:26 AM. |
