On the first drive of the game, Auburn found themselves just a few yards from a touchdown, unfortunatley for the Tigers, Charles Brown made a leaping interception to deny Auburn of any points.

Lester takes a pass and goes 35 yards to pull Auburn within 3. Despite taking some of the UNC right of their shoes, the Tar Heels stood firmly in place all game and ended up winning.
