Early in the first quarter Tyrell Sutton set the tone for the rest of the game with this explosive 71 yard dash to paydirt.

Right when it looked like Kansas State would pull ahead again, Brendan Smith picked off Freeman to turn the tides and set up a big touchdown run for the 'Western Wildcats (see below).

After a big interception by Brendan Smith (see above) Tyrell Sutton took a screen pass, broke a few tackles and darted his way to the endzone to put Northwestern up 14 to 3 with a few ticks remaining in the half.
