Re: M Go Blue!! Bringing MU to the Top
that tip ball on plays of the game looks like u got away with one. i dont think he had one foot in bounds. nice win. maybe not the most realistic thing but hey it happens. u should be in top 25 maybe top 20

Re: M Go Blue!! Bringing MU to the Top
Can you not dload rosters for PS2? You can manually put them in, but that takes awhile.
Anyways, good luck w/ your dynasty, but I hate Michigan with a passion. |

Re: M Go Blue!! Bringing MU to the Top
Im keepin things realistic is this 08 or 09 because in 09 ND blows out San Diego State. I did like 3 simulations. Someone either edited the rosters or is playing on to easy of a mode.

Re: M Go Blue!! Bringing MU to the Top
Well bigblue if you read my first post and one of my last posts you'd see that I'm playing on All-American because I haven't played in a while and wanted to get used to it. And if you took the time to read one of my posts to woy, I said,
"That win gets me thinking I should move up to Heisman." So if it'll make you stop complaining then I will. Dunkaccino- I dont know actually. I haven't took it online yet. Maybe if I have time today I'll try and see. But from now on I'll name the players starting with my roster sheet on front page. __________________ ![]() Done with dynasties/franchises until Christmas |

Re: M Go Blue!! Bringing MU to the Top
Week 6 Preview ![]() #21 Illinois Fighting Illini (2-2) VERSUS ![]() Michigan Wolverines (3-1) Preview- Illinois comes into the game after a brutal loss to Penn St. 32-14. Michigan comes into the game after giving a brutal loss to #7 Wisconsin 56-14. Who has the momentum and confidence. Will Michigan beat their second ranked oppenent in a row? The stats say so. Illinois is ranked dead last in the Big Ten in Total Offense, Pass Yards, and next to last in Rushing Yards. They're a little bit better on the defensive side. Ranking 5th in Total Yard given up, 7th in Passing Yards given up, and 4th in Rushing Yards given up. Michigan is dead last in Rushing Yards. But they're first in the NCAA, still, is Rushing Yards given up. Illinois biggest playmaker has to be Vontae Davis (CB #1). He has 12 tackles and 2 INT's on the season. Michigans biggest playmaker coming into the game is probably Greg Matthews (WR #13). He has 22 receptions, 433 yards, and 6 Total TD's on the year. Overall, look for Michigan to remain on top the NCAA in rush yards given up, Vontae Davis and Greg Matthews to have a battle, and a possible upset. Lee's Pick: Michigan Kirk's Pick: Illinois __________________ ![]() Done with dynasties/franchises until Christmas Last edited by YoungWonda : 07-24-2008 at 08:37 PM. |

Week 6 Recap ![]() #21 Illinois Fighting Illini (2-2) VERSUS ![]() Michigan Wolverines (3-1) Who Won the Battle? Matthews or Davis? 1st Half Recap- If you don't know what that question means then look at the preview. Michigan didn't expect a big challenge but this is the #21 team in the nation. Illinois started with a bang with an 86 yard kickoff return by Arrelious Benn (WR #9). Michigans punter had a bad kick to set Illinois up with good field position but couldn't take advantage. Again Illinois started at the 25 of UM by a failed 4th down and ended up losing the ball. Then Illinois, after the fumble, tackled Ryan Mallet for a safety. To add to the lead Matthews got clobbered and fumbled and Illionis took it back to lead 16-0. Matthews redeemed himself by getting 2 key receptions on 3rd down that led to a 41 yard TD catch by Junior Hemmingway to put UM on the board. I super-simmed the rest of the game from here. Illinois had three more scores by the end of the half. One on a 65 yard TD pass caught by WR #21 from QB #7. Then the same duo hooked up again for 9 yards with WR #21 catching it again. They ended on a 36 yard FG. I super-simmed so no stats for halftime. 2nd Half Recap- Michigan down big didn't play with much heart as they really got man-handled. Mallet threw to Matthews for a 7 yard TD but it was far too late. Illiniois just added one more FG and made the final 36-14. Obviously Davis' team won but stat-wise the winner between him and Matthews was probably Matthews. ![]() WR #9 takes the kick back after this broken tackle. ![]() Mallet got just a little too far back in the endzone and got sacked for 2 points ![]() This was probably the only bright spot for UM. The 41 yard TD catch ![]() Fumble!!!! Right by the 5 yard line but this did set up the safety Key Game Stats: Rushes-Yards: 16-58----26-18 Pass Yards: 208----280 Sacked: 3 times----6 Greg Matthews: 9 rec. 138 yds. 1 TD LE #55- 4 tkl. 3 TFL 3 sk. WR #21- 4 rec. 106 yds. 2 TD MLB #43- 8 tkl. 2 TFL 1 sk. Vontae Davis- 4 tkl 1 INT __________________ ![]() Done with dynasties/franchises until Christmas Last edited by YoungWonda : 07-24-2008 at 09:43 PM. |
