In the Media Poll we are 33rd. Almost there!
Backup QB Cameron Newton, he went 4 for 5, for about 30 yards. __________________

Re: "The Rebels' Are Nutt's!" - Matt10's OleMiss Report
![]() Week 6 - #19 SOUTH CAROLINA @ OLE MISS ![]() The conditions are going to make this game a little bit more interesting. Gamecocks senior LB Jasper Brinkley might have a bit more trouble stopping the run as a result. Date and Time: 10/04/08, 3h30pm Weather: Showers, 45 degrees Surface: Wet Field Grass ![]() ![]() Record: 5-0 Conference: SEC (T-1st) Last Game: W (23-10 at Florida) Player Watch: After holding Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators to only 10 points, it is the Rebels defense that will have to be considered a threat. Defensive back Demarreo Marr has excellent hands and like he showed last week, can go the distance when he catches the ball. The linebackers Jamie Phillips and captain Ashley Palmer are ones who can contain the run as well. Grades: OVR(B),OFF(B+),DEF(B+) Coach Comments: "We are here to keep the Fun-Train going." Injuries: None ![]() Record: 4-1 Conference: SEC (3rd) Last Game: W (31-10 at UAB) Player Watch: The Gamecocks rating wise are well off as LB Jasper Brinkley has had an incredible season so far with 35 tackles and 3 sacks and running back Mike Davis is on a hot-streak averagin 77 yards a game. With the sudden rise of Rebels football in the SEC, look for the Gamecocks to have the "Go Big or Go Home" mentality in Oxford today to play the part of spoils. Grades: OVR(B),OFF(B),DEF(B) Coach Coments: "I think they are still on cloud-nine, and I'm quite certain we can use that to their own disadvantage." Injuries: RT Justin Sorensen (90 ovr) - Turf Toe - Questionable __________________

Tough loss but you'll bounce back. South Carolina is doing well in my dynasty. They got up to #5 until they lost to Tennessee.

Re: "The Rebels' Are Nutt's!" - Matt10's OleMiss Report
Thanks y'all, seriously dissapointed with it - but like you said, I'll bounce back. Alabama will be an interesting game, they are right in the thick of things and we very well could blow em up or get blown (in the bad way).
Also btw - does anyone know how I change my username back to Matt10? uhhh __________________

Re: "The Rebels' Are Nutt's!" - Matt10's OleMiss Report
![]() Week 8 - OLE MISS @ #24 ALABAMA ![]() In real life, Johnson was arrested this year for disorderly conduct, however in this report there is no such act. He still might be pushing guards though - they will be wearing helmets. Date and Time: 10/18/08, 12h30pm Weather: Clear, 71 degrees Surface: Field Grass ![]() ![]() Record: 5-1 Conference: SEC (3rd) Last Game: L (14-41 vs South Carolina) Player Watch: Junior Wide receivers, Shay Hodge and Marshay Green have been consistent targets for QB Jevan Snead. In the loss to the Gamecocks, Green caught the ball 10 times for 140 yards and a touchdown, while Hodge caught 5 balls fro 107 yards. The key will be whether or not their deliverer, Snead, can keep his composure in the pocket and not force the throw. Grades: OVR(B),OFF(B+),DEF(B+) Coach Comments: "The SC game was a disappointment, I'll say that, but sometimes you need that kind of defeat to put your heads back on your shoulders, and that helmet back on your head." Injuries: None Record: 4-2 Conference: SEC (4th) Last Game: W (25-21 vs Kentucky) Player Watch: The Crimson Tide have a slew of offensive weapons, however one of their main ones, WR Mike McCoy will be out with a torn tricep. There are no worries though as freshman Julio Jones is more than capable of being John Parker Wilson's main target. Defensively, look for captain Rashad Johnson to find himself closer to the line of scrimmage rather than batting down balls. Grades: OVR(B),OFF(B+),DEF(B) Coach Comments: "They are looking regain momentum, the problem is we have it with us already - and we're at home, it's not looking good for them already - and it won't be." Injuries: WR Mike McCoy (86 ovr) - Torn Tricep - 2 Weeks Prospects Visiting: #722 M.Mitchell (C) --- Hernando, MS __________________
