Central Michigan Chippewas...Movin' On Up
Central Michigan Chippewas
 As a Child Bubba Chump always dreamed of being a coach of a Div. 1 Football Team. In High School, Chump put on his pads for the first time when he was a Junior. He was put on the varsity team as a 3rd string running back. He didn’t play at all during his Junior season and looked as if he wasn’t going to play during his senior year. Chump was put on the varsity team again in his senior year but did not play. So then came College. It was a tough decision between schools. One of the schools he had in mind was Central Michigan. He wasn’t going to play football in any of his schools because he just plain out sucked. Another one of the schools was Buffalo. It was a close decision for Bubba but he felt that Central Michigan would fit him well.School for Bubba went very well. He stayed there for 4 years and did very well with his all of his work. He still loved football and he went to every Chippewa home game. Bubba Chump Graduated in 05. After the Chippewas went 6-5 in the 2005 season(5-3 Conf.) the head coach was fired. The job as the head coach was open. Many people wanted the job. Chump went in and signed up for the job. They said that they would notify him if he got the job. The chances of him getting the job is slim. He just graduated from college and has no experience in coaching. 2 weeks later Bubba got a letter in the mail. It was for the coaching job. He opened the letter and read it carefully. He had to read it again. He got the job to coach at Central Michigan. Chump was amazed how lucky he was. He finally got what he wished for, to be the coach of a Div. 1 College Football Team and to get back into what he always loved….FOOTBALL! __________________
