Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders

Thanks for the reply...... I think that because most of us are still adapting to the game it will make the 100 AWR by the CPU seem crazy. But eventually you'll learn how to attack them and won't even realize their AWR is maxed out. But what it does as I mentioned in my initial post was it allows for the sliders to stay strong over the long haul in dynasty mode. Sure you could leave the CPU's AWR at 50-55 but after about 10-12 games your going to start killing alot of defenses because the AI won't hold up that long with a lower awareness on AA Level as we play the game more and more. I lowered all of th other base sliders KDWN, INT and BRK BLK sliders for the CPU to help off set their higher AWR. I increased the tackle slider because it's much easier for the human player to break tackle or avoid tackles in this game than it is for the CPU controlled RB's. Basically with just the AWR and TKL sliders being high they (CPU) reacts quicker to your play calling tendencies and pursue the ball much better but they won't give you that super man feeling in other area's of the game like knockdowns, interceptions and over powering every Offensive Lineman. If the CPU is getting off blocks to quick for you even with their BRK BLK Slider down to 10 there's are a couple of easy tweaks you can make to help you out. You can increase the Human Blocking Sliders up to about 35 or you can lower the CPU's BRK BLK Slider down some more to 0-5 which ever feels best to you. I'm still going to play several more games before making any tweaks because I've got a great mixture of games from low scoring defensive battles to high scoring games. I doubt that I lower the CPU's AWR though because you can tweak the sliders in other area's to off set it and once you get further and further into the game the chances are most people are going to start increasing the CPU's AWR on AA level the deeper they get into the game or they are going to move straight to Heisman level because they'll feel the AI isn't smart enough on AA level to compete with them. Instead of moving to Heisman decided I can stay on AA and still make the CPU's Defense and Offense strong enough to give me competive games as if I was playing on Heisman mode. Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders
Here's a couple tweaks you can make with the sliders if your having problems in a specific area.
1) If the CPU's RB's are breaking too many tackles lower their ability down to 75-80 or you can just increase the Human TKL Slider up to 35-40. 2) If you are strugling to Pass protect or Run Block vs the CPU you can increase your Pass or Run Block Sliders to 35-40 or you can lower the CPU's BrK BLk Slider down to 0-5. 3) If the CPU is tackling too good you can lower their Tackle Slider down to 75-80 for the AI. Those will most likley be the best solutions to finding more balance with the Base set of sliders posted right now. Last edited by Playmakers : 07-20-2007 at 03:31 PM. Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders
I have had some great games with these and a few of my tweaks.
Getting the running game going WVU style has been a challenge because the tackles seem to become retards on Qb choice plays though. My SEC battles have been great. Ive been using Arkansas, and my games against LSU and Aurburn were amazing slugfests with a lot of injuries and sacks. And I have even been able to hang around with Marshall too, against some of the bigger schools, but damm was it tough. Its been a real challenge to stop the running game with them. Most of the time I have to audible to blitzes if I think they are going to run, otherwise the larger schools will just gash me because of their larger O-lines in base defenses. Its been feast or famine with them to say the least. |

Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders
I played with WVU two headed monster against USF. Hell of a game, I won 44-42. Both White and Slaton had over 100 yds rushing. Threw 3 ints but that's ok cause White can't pass that good anyway. White have 4 rushing td's though. CPU A.I. was on 80. 80 is good. Playaction works on 80, not on 100. I was killing them with the QB Choice play.

Damn man that was pretty sweet.......... Also if you don't mind let me know what changes you made because maybe they can help others out in tweaking these sliders to perform better in their games. Since your a big West Virginia fan I have a nice Mountaineer Alumni roster I'm putting together with Major White running their offense. Judging from your videos your absolutely going to love what I'm going to do with Major in this years version of the game. |

Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders
Yeah, they are right, there is a glitch in the 360 version. I found that you have to move the one before you move the other, can't remember which is which. But one will go up 64, 69, 74, 79, etc...., you have to move the other sliders first then adjust them.

Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders
Heres my tweaked set that Im using right now:
All American HUMAN/CPU QBA-50/100 PASS BLK-25/25 WR CATCH-50/50 RB ABLTY-60/75 RUN BLK-40/25 DEFENSIVE SLIDERS AWR-10/100 KNDWS-25/25 INT-10/10 BRK BLK-20/10 TKL-40/100 I had to do something to get my Qb choice plays rolling, before my tackles were just flat out retarded on those...The CPU still blows it up enough so that its realistic though IMO. I probably average about 180+ on the ground between Slaton and White. The CPU is still a load to handle on defense, despite the lowered running ability. The CPU is still really good at breaking those 1 one 1s but seeing a CPU RB go through 2-3 guys in succession doesn't happen quite as much now. And one where maybe I just need to improve my play on is the pass D, at least with WVU...not so much Arkansas. Pitt lit me up for over 300+ in my last game against them. The QBs with these sliders are excellent at reading the blitzes, you better get him when your blitz. Buckling down in the redzone is key for me with WVU. the CPU moves the ball pretty good on me between the 20s. And CPU Qbs scramble pretty well Last edited by SteelerSpartan : 07-22-2007 at 02:36 AM. |
