Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders

Thanks for all the work you continue to do for the NCAA community PM. One thing I have noticed in my very limited time with these sliders:

I ran a slot option, pitched the ball to my 94 speed WR and then got run down like I was walking by an 88 speed safety, IMO, it should have been a TD, but instead, I got about 7 yards. The guy came out of nowhere.

IS this pretty common with these sliders? M<Aybe that was a motivation boost thing? Thoughts, ideas?

I've seen it happen a few times in test games most likley because with the sliders I posted as mentioned it makes the CPU pursue the ball much better. They take better pusuit angles and sometimes you will see a guy get caught from behind on a play when he should've scored.

I saw that a lot on Heisman level and the boost up in Awareness and Tackling on AA level with these sliders will tend to have that happen a few times aswell but not enough that it because a repetive problem like on heisman mode (IMO).

You could probably give SteelerSpartan's RBA setting of 60 a try and see if that helps your faster players break more big plays.

Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders

FINALLY!!!! I had a game using your updated sliders that neither the AI or myself threw an interception. The only changes I made were I played 10 minute quarters, dropped both interception sliders to 0, and used theaub's special teams sliders. I also upped the sub in/out 5 on all to get more subs in the game. Also, I seen some progress in the AI running with these, which is a huge relief.

Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders

I posted SteelerSpartan's modified set of sliders on the 1st page with the original sliders. I basically just seperated them into two versions.

But as with any set of sliders they aren't perfect. You can still modify if you like based on either version to fit your playing style.

I wanted to knock out sliders early this year so that I could began work on my NCAA Alumni rosters. I probably won't make any more changes to these because of the amount of time it'll take working on the roster file.

Hopefully, one of the two versions can provide a good game play experience for you guy's during your Dynasty mode.

Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders

Just played my 1st game using the revised sliders and I can finally say that it felt pretty damn good!!!! Stats were dead on, any turnover I made I tried to place blame on the slider set but when I went back and reviewed the play it was a bad read on my part.
I played 19th ranked UCLA{me} against unranked Fresno State. I won 49-24. I know it's only 1 game so I am going to try the Seminoles against Fresno State and report back. Thanks Playmaker and all who contributed to this set. Peace!!!!!

Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders

Played a 2nd game w/these sliders and I must say I am sticking w/them. UCLA[Me] vs Texas losing 21-23 on a last second fg by Texas. I was down 21-0 at the half and climb my way back in it with 2 4th qtr Td's. Lost my Qb for all of the 1st half. W/my backup in he threw 3 ints. Kept Texas's McCoy at bay the whole game.

All in all these sliders are real good in my opinion. Again thanks for all who helped get these to this point. Peace!!!!!

Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders

Just played a game with these. Texas (me) vs. Texas AM (CPU). Overall was a fair game, won 31-28 but I put it away late and with the last seconds they scored. They had 3 really big plays and their backup RB was so friggin fast. He had probably a 13 ypc avg. and Charles had about an 8 (broke 2 big runs)

I guess if you use sliders you can't get achievements? I broke a 66 yarder with Charles and didn't get the 60 yard run and also had over 200 yards with him, no achievement there. I did get the redzone achievement though.

Had a vid but EASports World doesn't want to recognize it.

Re: Playmakers 360 NCAA AA Sliders

I just played my 2nd game with these and lost to South Carolina 41-14. I was Clemson. Stats...

Mine -

Korn - 11-22, 129 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT, 1 sack
James Davis - 13 attempts, 88 yards, 1 TD, avg. of 6.7 (broke a 70 yard TD to begin the game)
Korn broke off a big run for the other TD
No drops.

Them -

Blake Mitchell... 273.9 passer rating. 17-24, 384 yards, 5 TD's, 0 sacks.
Cory Boyd - 25 att. 105 yards, avg. of 4.2 no TD.
No drops.

Notes - It seems like my DB's are mentally retarded and all of theirs are All-Americans. When I try a new game I'm gonna bump my Awareness up and there's down.

They're kicker made a 56 yarder pretty easily. Bumping down power some more I guess.

The whole game I was pretty stressed, pissed and mad all rolled into one. With these sliders for Campus Legend my QB is seriously the biggest pile of crap ever and he's like a 97. He has like 3 total TD's on the year and like 9 INT's. I really have no idea what to do with that and thats what made me stressed out. Now I have to go to work so maybe it just wasn't the right conditions for me to play in and thats why I got crushed.
