Playmakers NCAA 09 Sliders

Playmaker I just read on the operation sports forum that the 2nd patch comes out on the 21st of August at 2 am (PST).

The patch includes all this.

Online
- Ability to view your Online Dynasty HQ through EA Sports World
- Improved online performance

Dynasty
- Fixed a couple recruiting exploits
- Faster simming between weeks

Custom Stadium Sounds
- The "All" option will now only work when the user is the home team

Gameplay
- Improved coverage on kicks
- Hook Zones depth keeps defenders in their zones
- Fixed an issue with the Strafe Catch
- Allow fumbles to occur when diving
- WR screen routes improved

Bug Fixes
- AI sliders for will now work correctly
- An issue with missing stats after simming has been fixed
- Ball carrier will no longer run out of bounds when changing hands and heading towards the sidelines
- Fixed an exploit that allowed the slot receiver to burn the safeties in a prevent defense
- Fixed a bug where the the ball would hit the cross bar, drop through, and not be counted
- Fixed a bug that would prevent Hot Routes from working

Right now I'm trying out your Heisman sliders but I'm wondering if the improved zone defense and the RB's not running out of bounds will distort your sliders and upset the balance?

I'm assuming the current sliders will still be playable till everybody tweaks their sliders to fit the patch.

The patch should allow me to eventually start an online dynasty soon.

Studious. When you start your dynasty let me know. I have been trying to get into a dedicated dynasty for days now. Everyone quits after they lose one game.

My gt is trevorjt7....or just post on sportsgamer, I check the forums often. I actually posted to start a dynasty, but no one is replying.

Will do. I'm going to attempt to build an online dynasty from guys at various message boards. The majority will probably be from the ncaa utopia message board, some from here and some from operation sports.

I'll set up our own message board for the league so we can all communicate there.

The only thing holding me back all this time was waiting for the patch and having a final set of sliders (post patch sliders).

I feel like Playmakers sliders are the best out there right now and want to use his for our dynasty. Although I'm going to wait till he's got his final set of post patch sliders. From what I gather they haven't changed the impact of the sliders. Its just that now the cpu's play isn't linked to the human sliders.

Our first major decision will be whether to play on All American or Heisman. I can play on both. Usually it seems most guys beg for Heisman, I guess they don't feel manly enough unless it has Heisman on the sliders.

My main goal in this dynasty will be to have fun. To do that I'll work hard to eliminate the obvious and hard core cheese play. You know like a Wide out being put in at QB and then running the option. Or the usual drop back of 20 yards while rolling to the other side of the field to either throw bombs or run with the QB. Or using some unstoppable nano blitz that gets the QB sacked in 1 second every time.

But I also want to avoid the other extreme of labeling anything and everything cheese. Where gamers whine about any and every play/route under the sun, to where even snapping the ball is called "cheese." I want to avoid the witch hunts and just have fun.

So staying balanced and avoiding both extremes will be key.

I'm sure our dynasty will start out with 12 players and I'm sure some will quit, but even if half leave in the middle of the first season we'll just keep rolling. If no replacements come in, we would just finish the first season up and then get 6 new guys for the 2nd season.

P.S. The Dynasty would be for 360.

Yeah that sounds good. I fine with either AA or Heisman. I prefer the sim style play, reading defenses, running the ball, etc....

I am not sure what type of schedule you are planning for advancing weeks. But I would prefer 2 or 3 times per week. Not to slow, but not to fast (some people have jobs).

Sorry for the late reply, had a new baby boy added to the family and playing time had been very limited plus the 360 had a short death experience (lol).

I really didn't make any huge changes after the patch

Gongrats is in order to the new addition to your family. Been waiting on some new post-patch sliders before I start my Dynasty. Strictly PS3 for me nowadays. Been that way since my sons went down last month and we both decided enough is enough. We both enjoy the PS3.

Also can't wait for Live. Hopefully it turns out to be a Gem. Peace!!!!

I'm already trying to rush him out on the field or courts....

Live looks hot this year and let's hope it doesn't dissapoint like in years past. It's gonna be tough for you to get my rosters this year in Live 09 if your strictly going PS3.....but hopefully the ratings won't need overhauled like in years past.

I know you are probably still on the 360. I love that system but went through 4-5 of them jet engines and I was done. NCAA 09 is a thing of beauty on the PS3.
Gonna try these sliders out tonight in a couple of play now games and see.

I normally play against a poorly rated team and then a top 10 team and make sure I get the results that normally would happen in real life.

By the way PM last week my son and I went to the Missouri vs Nevada game in Columbia, MO and all I can say about Chase Daniels is that kid is SICK!!! Heisman imo. Peace!!!
