Re: Playmakers NCAA 07 Alumini Rosters

Aight I'm gonna send out Texas to everyone in about 5-10 minutes. It took me forever to get their ratings and depth charts in order. But after 2 quick test games with them I love their ground attack. They used Campbell, Williams and Holmes all on series during an 11 play 79 yd drive. I can imagine once their strategy settings are inputed they will constantly run those 3 guy's smash mouth style all game. I had to start bringing up both S's because Sisemore and company was tearing up my D-Line opening up holes.

It's amazing what kind of effects the Run Block Footwork ratings can have on OL and WR's if you want to see them get down field and throw blocks.

I haven't gotten to check out the latest releases yet because I've been away from my apartment all weekend, but I'm sure they're up to par with the first four teams you put out and Im looking forward to using the new teams.

Yeah I'm playing Miami vs Texas right now and Johhny "Lam" Jones just scored on a 42 yd td strike from Bobby Layne. He beat Ryan McNeil in man coverage because I blitz on 3rd short thinking they were going to run Edge.

I absolutely love the rosters on heisman level it's very challenging. I got smoked last night by Oklahoma but it's all good because I'm having a great time with the rosters. I've got some buddies coming over today and were going to run a little tournament with the teams that are complete right now.

Then I'll get back working on some more teams later on tonight.

Great looking roster for Texas! I would change one thing though. I would have Major Applewhite in addition to or instead of Chrissy Simms. I believe Major still holds some career records for the Big XII. I don't want to speak for all Horns fans but I personally hated Chris Simms whereas I'll always have a special place for the Major. Not very talented but the heart of a lion.

The funny thing is one of buddies who controlled Texas today never even bothered to use Simms or Layne.

He went right away with Young and absolutely killed all us today. So, ultimatley even with Applewhite on the roster I'm pretty sure 9/10 guy's will go straight to Young..........

If you love Texas he's going to be alot of fun to play with in the game. The only thing he really lacks is awareness and Accuracy since he's a Freshman in the game.

No Vince for me until year 2. He'll be getting a redshirt.

Re: Playmakers NCAA 07 Alumini Rosters

I'm gonna start piecing together Tennessee's roster and the 1st thing that will be drastically different from all the other rosters is that Vol's will be only team I've assigned 2 Impact players both at DE (Reggie White & Doug Atkins).

There's been a DE/DT combination I believe but not two DE's. The Vol's have rolled out DT's like crazy over the last few years.

They also have well over 80 players that I found deserving but 20+ of them will most likley get the AX.

Re: Playmakers NCAA 07 Alumini Rosters

Just wanted to think you playmakers for sending the Texas roster this weekend. Everything looks pretty good and honestly I had the most fun with this game since when it first released. My weekend was totally awesome playing against all the teams on demo. Even though I'm not a huge college football historian I'd say based on what I've seen all of the rosters on the demo looked neatly put together and rated appropriatley.

Thanks again for such a great job your doing with the game.

Re: Playmakers NCAA 07 Alumini Rosters

I screwed up fellas and forgot to put together a team for LSU.....

I'm not sure how I missed them but anyways they'll get done. I have only Virginia and LSU remaining to assemble. Then it's all ratings from that point on.

I still didn't get any feedback on the FG kickers so I'll propably have to test that out myself and lower accuarcy and range accross the boards because that seems like the only way to get realistic missed FG's.

I'm thinking the Highest Power rating should be 75 and Accuarcy rating 70 but only for the FG kickers. The Punters seem fine and I'm using most of them as KO specialist to their power will remain normal based on the individual punter of course.

Re: Playmakers NCAA 07 Alumini Rosters

I found a great balance for Peyton Manning as JR

He's got an overall rating of 88 with his awareness set at 86 and both his power & accuarcy is at 90/90.

He'll make a few mistakes if you get some heat on him but if he has time he's going to pick you apart. I figure by the time he's a SR his overall will jump up to about 92-93 which is pretty reasonable. Not quite in Montana, Marino and Staubach level but still pretty good by his SR year.

Oh yeah the guy has an overload of fleet footed Wr's to throw to in Morgan, Pickens, McGee, Miller, Harper and Price right out of the gate.......
