Custom Stadium Sounds Thread

NCAA Football 09 custom Stadium Sounds:
Ok when you get into this menu you can select which home team you want to make sounds for, or you can select "all" so it'll make that sound for all home teams.

The following are the events for which a user can setup custom sounds:
  • Successful Field Goal
  • Successful PAT
  • Successful 2 pt Conversion
  • TD
  • Safety
  • Defense on 3rd down
  • Defense on 4th down
  • Kickoff
  • Timeout called by home team
  • Timeout called by away team
  • Tackle for loss or sack
  • Defensive stop on 3rd down
  • Defensive stop on 4th down
  • Turnover
  • Defense takes the field after a kick return
  • 3rd down conversion successful
  • 4th down conversion successful
  • 1st down conversion on 1st or 2nd down
  • FG missed by opponent
  • Booth review
  • Start of the 4th quarter
  • Penalty on Away team

Then you select playlist, and it'll load up your playlist. It listed all the playlists i have my laptop that i usually get my music streamed to my 360 on. In this case, just for the sake of testing I picked Kanye West-Graduation for touchdowns and Jay-Z black album for kickoffs.

I started the game to see what would play. I figured I'd get to kickoff and see what song played.

It plays the songs on the playlist at random. You can't select certain bit/parts of the song to play like you could in the 2K games. What you'll probably need to do is find sounds, chants, songs, specific to your school and make a playlist of them. This way they can just play and actually fit in and make sense with the situation. I'd imagine if you're all about realism you'll probably edit this stuff on your computer then make your own custom sounds that way. Then just make a playlist of it.

I'll use audacity or a mp3 trimmer and select the part of the song I want, and just upload those tracks...then I can get exactly what I want. Can't Wait to play my friends with this...I just wish online play let you hear the other guys music, but It only allows you to hear your own. But I can see why they didn't allow that. Even though it's nothing much different than someone can say to you over a mic.

Re: Custom Stadium Sounds Thread

after playing a full game with this i'm pretty sure it doesnt pick at random whats on the playlist. It played the same songs for each situation. Plus it seemed to be delayed somewhat. Like after I scored a TD, the song would come on as i was kicking the PAT and would only played like 3 secs. On kickoffs, the same thing. Not sure if this is because its gotta load it up from my pc or what. I'm going to try putting these directly on the 360.

How do I load MP3's from my computer to my XBOX 360? Thanks for the help.

Re: Custom Stadium Sounds Thread

Burn your songs to a CD, then rip them to your 360

It's stupid yes I know

Re: Custom Stadium Sounds Thread

I hope the delay thing is because it is coming from your pc, cause that sucks. Hopefully it is quick and actually a worth while feature. I don't want to edit a bunch of songs before I actually know what the deal is.
