Ben Wallace drops 16 in the opener against the Pacers...

Can you Pistons fans believe this??? He looks really nice out there, but he still has a lot of room to improve, and I think he'll only get better on offense...Not only that, but he also is holding it down on D, as he blocked 6 shots...and just for good measure, grabbed 17 rebounds.

As for our two guards...it looks like they haven't been practicing much over the summer. Richard Hamilton and Chauncey Billiups scored 19 points COMBINED...Richard Hamilton couldn't sink any of his jumpers, and Chauncey couldn't get his layups to fall in, and if you ask me...at times, Chauncey looks rather uncordinated. Ben Wallace actually looks more coordinated on offense than Chauncey Billups did, at least for that game.
ALSO, what about Darko?! Just remember this, Elden Campbell only played in 66 of 82 games last year, and I doubt he'll be healthy ALL season, now that he's even older, SO I think this will allow Darko to at least get SOME playing time. I say SOME, because they STILL have Mehmut Okur and Zelly.

i expected it actually but im still pissed off that the pistons lost, i know its only one game but damn im still mad about it

can wait till friday

everyone for the pistons played great EXCEPT Billups and Hamilton, the most important guys on the court. Hamilton couldnt get anything to drop, not even free throws

Yes, I REALLY hope it was just a fluke man...let's just hope it was...let's just hope that new contract didn't go to his head, and hopefully, Brown will get him straightened out...as for Billups: I don't want to say his season last year was a fluke, even though it wasn't GREAT, but it was his best year as far as points go, with 16.2 PPG. I think both will rebound next game, and put up some solid numbers.

Just think of you guys had Carmelo Anthony. Despite Prince being a solid SF, Carmelo would be nice. A big small foward who can shoot and has a good inside game. IMO Dark won't do too much for you guys this year, I think you guys needed a scorer, and you could have found that in Carmelo. Missed oppourtunity.

we'll be fine, Darko will develop into a great role player and maybe in a few years a star in the nba

I've thought about this a few times, but I am going to be patient with Darko. He is still young (He just turned 18 recently).

why do you draft a second rounder and not use him, i've heard the argument don't want to tamper with a winning formula, but i prefer darko to any other power forwards on the pistons thank you.. even though i've never seen him play.. Bron makes me believe the hype!

you would prefer a lost 18 year old kid on the floor instead of ben wallace or memo okur(dropping almost 10 and 10 off the bench).Yes darko will be good but right now he is just all raw talent ad potential....tahts it....for now i think LB will stick wiht big ben and memo
