Training camps open today !!!

Whoo hoo football is finally upon us. The Packers and Bucs both open camps today! I heard John Clayton on the radio this morning and it got me even more pumped for football.

Yeah. It's about time. I'm even looking forward to the preseason for the first time. With Ken Dorsey in SF, and that little QB battle down in St. Louis, the preaseaon will be fun to watch (For this fan any way).

JE, have you heard anything this year about the QB "controversy" in St. Louie? Any talk of who has the inside edge? Or is that going to be decided in Training camp?

Mike Martz has already given Kurt Warner the job to lose. However, he said that he wouldn't think twice about yanking Warner if he doesn't bounce back to his usual self. With that being said, Kurt Warner is looking just as good as ever, I hear. He told the media he's healthier than he ever has been, even in '99, where he was ''stiff'' throughout the year... Gee, If that's being stiff, I sure hope he suffers from more of that this season. :D

Honestly though, Mike Martz is the type of guy who refuses to allow controversy come between his players, so he'll say anything to keep the players minds into the game, which I respect.. It's about the only thing I respect about the man. My take on the situation is this - whichever guy looks the best, will be the starter. I believe the preseason will be more important this season, than it ever has been. Both guys will want to look as good as possible, as soon as possible. I like both Bulger and Warner, but if Warner is healthy, I don't see Marc taking his job. It'll be fun to see though.

Oh, and thanks, JENGA.
