Bears sign Safeyt MIke Brown through 2008
http://espn.go.com/nfl/news/2003/0717/1582311.html
Good signing for them. This guy is a top 10 safety in the league and a playmaker. He and urlacher are the cornerstones of that defense. |

Pass first, dodge ?'s last

I agree, Mike Brown showed me ALOT the year before last. His ability to read offenses makes him the most solid DB you guys have. McQuarters is getting up there in age, so this signing shows that the Bears are serious about keeping a solid defensive core around for a while

This is a great move by the bears. By keeping him in Chi-Town longer they are getting alot. Just imagine if they hadn't of cut Tony Parrish 2 years ago. Man that would be a sick bunch of safety's right there. I believe Brown is a big part of the team, I don't know how good the bears would be without him.

You're right he's better than Ed Reed. But if you're talking about Ed Hartwell thats another story. That guy is the best player in the NFL.
