We can't take our own food at the new stadium. If we want to chow down on a cheesesteak while watching the birds kick some ass, we're gonna have to pay out the nose for one at the stadium. I swear, when I get Madden 04, I'm setting the cheesesteaks concession at $2 a piece.

Actually, it's really not that big of a deal. People always find ways of sneaking stuff into the stadium. Last year at the Giants game, someone two rows in front of me brought in a George Foreman grill and was cooking ribs on it. Now, how in the hell did he get a George Foreman grill passed security? Anyway, I usually eat before I go to the game (don't wanna miss any of the action) so I'm not too concerned about the new food policy. Although, I know a lot of people are disappointed with it.

You listen to Angelo Cataldi on WIP? What is your opinion on him being suspended without pay for his "Nazi" comment?

LOL. The whole thing is kinda funny. I'm not Jewish, so I wasn't offended, but Banner and Lurie are and were. I guess in this case the penalty fits the crime. Even though freedom of speech is our given right, his comments were a little too harsh. Anyway, I hope this incident doesn't change the way he expresses himself on air. He just needs to pick his words more carefully in the future.

That's what makes him unique though, his knack for the stupid comment. I still like his show though I think Howard Eskin is the best to listen to for pure sports talk. Cataldi goes all over the place sometimes.

I like gargano the best, but Eskin can be so funny at times.

As far as food into the stadium goes I don't see the big deal. You can't bring food into the FU center, no one complained about that. I think they made the mistake of letting Joe Banner do too much PR work, and he has shown that it's not his strong point. Nobody wants to hear it's a security risk, tell us the truth and it would have been accepted much better, IMO.

I did hear that you can take your food and say that it is a kosher meal, and that may just work. Some people have called into WIP and said it worked at the FU center.

Why is Steve Martarano an every day host now? I miss Glen Macnow in that spot and find Martarano dreadful. Guys like Macnow or Rob Charry know sports better and deserve that seat.

I'm not a big fan of Martarano. I really miss Mike Miss...(I can't spell it). Him and Gargano were golden together.

I agree with the Eskin comment Gators made. If you want just good sports talk, you can't beat Eskin.
