2003 NFL Predictions
AMERICAN FOOTBALL CONFERENCE AFC East 1.)NEW YORK 11-5 Pennington's sophomore year as starter will be a battle for respect. 2.)MIAMI 10-6 QB controversy could damage Phags Super Bowl hopes. 3.)NEW ENGLAND 9-7 Very dangerous team if their revamped defense can gell. 4.)BUFFALO 9-7 Have worked very hard to improve and looks like a contender. AFC North 1.)BALTIMORE 9-7 Will run away with division if a solution to their QB problem comes along. 2.)PITTSBURGH 8-8 Maddox must prove he isn't a one year wonder, and the Bus must show he has gas left in the tank. 3.)CLEVELAND 4-12 Depleted defense + QB controversy + playoff schedule = Break out the paper bags! 4.)CINCINNATI 4-12 New coach and free agent improvements give hope to the Queens City. AFC South 1.)TENNESSEE 10-6 Eddie George isn't getting any younger, but team can rely on McNair's toughness. 2.)INDIANAPOLIS 8-8 Could get lost in the pack in a tough AFC. 3.)JACKSONVILLE 6-10 Del Rio must prove he can coach...Brunnell must prove he still has it. 4.)HOUSTON 4-12 Opposing defenses will look to once again break the sack record on poor Carr. AFC West 1.)OAKLAND 11-5 Old bastards not yet ready to pass torch on to 35-and under crowd. 2.)KANSAS CITY 9-7 Powerful offense helps make up for anemic defense. 3.)DENVER 8-8 Is Plummer as good as advertised? NFC North 1.)GREEN BAY 11-5 Playing in one the NFL's weakest divisions makes them seem better than they are. 2.)MINNESOTA 7-9 Offense looks promising, but young defense could be downfall. AFC Division winners....
Buffalo - 11-5, The loss of Price will be made up for by the improved defense. Pittsburgh - 10-6, Maddox a one year wonder? His numbers weren't that good to begin with. It was the fire that made him look so good. Bus goes flat, Amos takes over, running game works. Indianapolis - 10-6, Why did I pick Indy to win the division? Because FGators promised me that Peyton Manning will finally drop the Gomer Pyle act, and actually win something for once. Oakland - 11-5, Rich Gannon decides that his career wouldn't be the same, without another blown shot at a superbowl ring. AFC Champions - Buffalo Bills. NFC Division winners..... Washington - 11-5, I'm a Steve Spurrier homer, how can I not pick them? Green Bay - 10-6, The NFL decides to add a new rule, special for Favre - No dome games. Why? Because the media hasn't been able to kiss his a** for a long while now, and he just looks average. Atlanta - 11-5, Brad Johnson goes down to injury, giving Vick's Falcons just enough to win the division. St. Louis - 11-5, young defense expected to do nothing... Kurt Warner expected to do nothing.. Does 1999 sound familar? Silly doubters. NFC winners - Atlanta Falcons. Superbowl winners - Atlanta Falcons. Vick Mania goes wild, we get annoyed by it in 2 years time and start hoping for injuries. |

Super Bowl: Philadelphia Eagles vs. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES. It'll be close, but the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES will beat the Philadelphia Eagles on the last play of the 4th Qtr. 27-24. The PHILADELPHIA EAGLES will finally have their Super Bowl Championship.

No way in the world the Browns only win 4 games. This is a playoff team that was pretty young last year and is maturing by gaining more experience. Hard schedule or not expect at least 8 wins.

Nfc south. one of league's weaker divisions? are you serious. last year the Bucs win the super Bowl and the Falcons go deep into the playoffs, and the saints barely miss the playoffs and go 9-7. and the panthers are going to be good this year. now is this really a weak division? now for your predictions. 1.) Tampa Bay 12-4 2.) Saints 10-6 3.) Falcons 9-7 4.) Panthers 7-9 |
