Miami Dolphins had a very talented team last year that was in first place heading into the last week of the season and didnt make the playoffs, however this offseason they addressed almost every single problem spot and I think that they are prime candidates for a serious superbowl run.

Mountaineer, i see you are fins fan, but not Hurricanes fan for College football. Whats the deal? what made you like the Dolphins? Are you from Miami? just curious.

As a fellow Dolfan, I am very cautious of getting too excited about the start of the season, since over the past 10 years (or more), the Fins always seem to start off red hot, but always finish ice cold!

Always a Super Bowl contendor until they reach December.

For the most part you are right, and we almost always usually have a good team (being we are the most consisten team in NFL history in terms of winning) however I really feel that this year we can put it all together especially with the way Ricky has been playing. We lost a lot of momentum last year when Jay went out, so hopefully he can stay healthy and we can win some games late in the year.

Bruce I do think they are gonn amake it to the Superbowl.. With Ricky Getting better , Jason Taylor, Junior They got it... THere are more I can mention but i just woke up

I feel ya Bruce, but I've been saying "this is the year" almost every year for the past 10. Heartache, disappointment, and pain has been the only result.

I salute your optimism and I'm sure as the season nears, I'll start feeling the excitement, but I've been down this road too many times

At best, I am cautiously optimistic (whatever that means).

Now I'm from NY Bruce. I have always been a Fins fan since I was little. I would always go with pops to watch the Jets and Fins play and I enjoyed Marino. I actually liked Miami when I was like 9 but thats because they rocked the tightest jerys's. I'm a WVU fan because I attend the college.
