Whats with this 2 QB trend
I have seen a few teams go to keeping just 2 QBs on there team. Its seems like its the new trend or something. Is this really smart for teams to do?

it's usually with teams who have two good quarterbacks. It makes sense, since if one has a bad game, then they can bring in the other and know he won't blow ass.

It is a big gamble to take since, unless you are the Bucs or Ravens, you depend on your offense to generate enough points to win the game. If you lose one, or, god forbid, both of your quarterbacks to injuries, what do you do then? You don't sign people in the middle of a game.
