They lost the game by a lot but I wasn't all that disappointed in what I saw. Ramsey did look a little better but clearly is not going to be the starter. Many of the Skins starting players did not even play in the game so I can only be so disappointed by seeing 2nd and 3rd stringers performing below par. I'd say the one real lowlight was the play of Fred Smoot. He was having some serious trouble trying to cover Holt, although Ralph Brown was covering him on a few of those routes as well.

Watching the Skins this preseason has been extremely boring, but that's just how Gibbs does things. We won't get to see much of that offense until the season opener.. or the defense for that matter since they have only shown so much of their blitz packages in the preseason. I can't wait for Sept 12th, it can't come soon enough.

One guy I really enjoyed watching last night was Steven Jackson. I think that guy is going to be a force some day in the NFL, and I think God that Dallas did not pick him. I got him as a late round pick in the MN fantasy football league too so I am hoping he gets a fair share of carries this season.

OK... one more night of bland Redskins preaseason play.. then we finally get the real deal. Let's hope nobody gets hurt tonight.

Skins looked pretty solid last night. I was surprised to see Gibbs actually called one or two plays that weren't so vanilla. Now it's almost finally time to see some football that counts... and I can't wait!!!
