Im sick of the Vikings STILL getting negitive attention!

No one actually even looks at the Vikings. Everyone says the exact same thing...


1. Over-rated offense...

-we had the #3 offense last year... #1 running

2. The defense sucks

- ya it did, but look at ALL of the inprovements we made...

3. They wont make the play offs

look at 1 and 2... why wont we make the play offs with those?

4. Randy Moss is a punk, and plays when he wants too...

- ya, so he admited it... EVERY PLAYER takes a play off... its called exhaustion... even Rice did it after running a long bomb... Also.. he atented all the pre-season team stuff... pre-season, weight training...



so where is the problem... they at least look REALLY good on paper... better then alot of teams actually...

Jerry Rice and Barry Sanders are two players who never took a play off. Jerry Rice does not get winded after a long bomb. This man runs one of the more gruesome team work outs for the 49ers without losing a breath.

Then there's Barry Sanders who blew up on a rookie during a game because he wanted to rest after a play, telling him he should be happy that he plays football, and never should slack off.

Yeah but not EVERY Player hits an officer with their car :D On a serious note, the Vikings WILL be much better than they were last year. I'm a bears fan so follow the NFC north closely, so i watched a lot of vikings games. They played a lot better the second half the season, and seemed to be buying into Mike Tice's philosophy. I think if there D can be anywhere near average they'll contend for the NFC north title and playoff spot.

Randy Moss was found NOT GUILTY in court in the police officer case. The court ordered that the officer went above and beyond her line of duty but sitting on the hood of his lexus...




and who are you? tell me your sick of vikings fans thinking they deserve good attention... they have been the shaft of media attention since 1996...... NEVER do media figures talk about the vikings... even when they went 15-1 (when did your team go 15-1?), the media was talking about Jamal Anderson or Steve Young....

The Vikings could win the Super-Bowl, and the post game would be ALL of the other team...

sorry, im just sick of everyone overlooking the Vikings all the time... They had the #3 offense... #1 Running team in the NFL, pretty big feat when everyone thinks of the Vikings as a Passing team... the defense is definatly better with the addition of Claiborne and Walker...

IF the defense holds, why shouldnt this be a playoff team?

You replace Harrison with Kwammie Lasiter... Lassiter is getting older and his tackling abilities have decreased...... hopefully he can find the ball better then Harrison...


the ONLY bright spot on your team is Tomlinson... ya, you got a lot of POTENTIAL STARS... but stars only count when the season is on the line......... Tomlinson can get it done... what about Brees and the Offense... and will the defense play the pass better in 2003? Can Donnie Edwards lead the Charger D... a role that Junior Seau has had all of his career?

At least i am a REAL fan of the game... i gave your teams props where it deserves... ill do that with ANY team at ANY time...

Black there is not a problem with "debating". The problem comes in when it clearly becomes a "your team sucks my team is better" thread. Continue discussing though by all means. thats what this board is for. Lets just remember to not personally attack anyone, flame anyone, or name call anyone.
