Quarterbacks Important to draft high?
Whats your guys opinions on drafting QB'S high and early, Me, I prefer to draft RB'S/WR'S high, then try to "steal" a QB in the later rounds......etc.....But since we have Vick this yr, whats your opinion on where he should be taken, and where the top 5 qb's will go?, and where u looking at drafting them?

Personally I think Vick is too much of a gamble. If he keeps playing like he did last year there's way too high of risk of injury. I'll have to see how he plays this year to even think about taking him as my starting QB. He wouldn't be a bad backup but you know everyone will be drafting him high this year.

If somehow Vick dropped to after the 6th pick and i had that pick i would take him. If i had the number one pick i would take Ricky Williams. Any running back up to pick #4, then i start considering other postions.

I was just tryign to say that Vick would be the first or second QB i would take. But even if i had the number 1pick or 2 or 3 for that matter i would not take Vick. Most likely the top RB. I think Vick has 1 more year before he becomes a sure thing. Much like Clinton Portis. He had a great rookie year but i want him to solidify himself as a star. I think Vick can be great but i would not risk a #1 pick on him with Ricky out there.

Im not taking vick since he is the coverboy of madden. Those guys suck the year they have been on it.
Now back to the topic. I prefer taking a QB over a WR. But to me RB get the most points. |

If a good QB is available (Goodnumbers 2 years consecutively) I pick him up, if not, I go RB, WR, QB, DEFENSE, K, TE
Thats my draft rotation and I use the 2 YEAR SOLID NUMBERS rule as a rule of thumb for each draft pick Oh, BTW, Ive won SuperBowls in 85% of all leagues I play in, a minimum of 3 a year, so go figure Sure, thank me now :-) |

Well if your fantasy football is anything like your fantasy basketball this past season in my league, i find it hard to believe you win 85% of your leagues :D

I dont think QB's are that important at all. The way i like to draft is i go Rb , Rb, WR , WR , WR, Then ill take a QB in the 6th round. Then of course ill get my TE and Defense and ill start looking for good back ups at the positions. IN my most recent Draft i had 3rd pick and i went
Ricky Williams Corey Dillon Burress k. Robinson D. Mason A. Brooks I mean i got a really good QB and i waited til 6th Rd..... I just think they arent that important . Rbs Win the league . __________________
