Countering the HB at QB..
What do you do in order to counter the guys who like to put the HB in at QB and then run the option all game? Is it better to have fast guys in there or people who are better tacklers?

fast guys get to the ball faster, and even if their tackles are broken, it buys enuff time for someone else to get there.

Yeah, I played a guy that used a WR as his QB and ran all day. So I played the same game as him and ran with Michael Vick all day. :icon_cool

I think I may try picking my team without any O or D linemen and see if that works against these guys.

I've found speed kills on this game. No matter how big your guy is, if he's trying to tackle a solid offensive player, a broken tackle's likely to happen. So I agree w/ Nephew that the best strategy is speed so that you can gang tackle.

Yea I have started playin wit nothing but fast guys. I played one guy yesterday who put I think his name was gleen or glenn at qb he plays for the cowboys. He took off as soon as he hiked it, he was unstopable.

O, now I played some one else who does this thing I think he said keep hitting L1 and hike before you get to line and you can hike it as soon as you get to line and thats how they get so open. The defence dosent get time to all set up n he hikes it n his line men who are at WR grab the blockers.
