The goalies in NHL 2005

Is it just me or are the animations tons better?

Check out Salo in the Sweden movie.

Animations are looking better. I just hope they fix the gameplay stuff.

I must disagree. I think the cut-scenes look great, but the tiny bit of gameplay you see.... I think it looks like NHL 2004 for the goalies part. That Salo save looks good, but then again, it's probably just one of the few save animations that you see on a regular basis.

I wish I'm wrong, but I have been disappointed in the past, so I have to be prepared.

Hmm... guys... check out that "save"... there is no puck involved in the scene as far as my eyesight tells me.

not to mention the fact the goalies can be 1000% better, check out the dgts issues in each vid. That shiznit is terrible and has NO PLACE in any video game considering how well they've done the numbers without last year. I mean every shot of every player has some number or letter that every third angle doesn't match and looks like sh^t.....I'm liking what I'm seeing but potentially this one issue could ruin an otherwise improved game from EA(well other than the fact the initial rosters will be missing around 400 free agents the teams WON'T sign UNTIL AFTER the strike/lockout's over(and depending how much extra security they put into lockingthe rosters and everything AGAIN could be another monster issue right there....)
