exactly my thoughts!

I agree.. When they said they would have a 5 man mo-cap I thought great! but when they said it's to open up the ice i was like NOOO! my god! All past EA games have been ALREADY HUGELY open ice without a 5 man mo cap. Now it just seems it will be much easier to gain the zone and make plays.

But i still gotta hope that it'll work out better when the final game comes out than how it looks now.

And keep in mind. I'm almost positive all videos so far have been on Easy or Beginner level! Meaning Medium and Hard levels may have significantly better Defense and stuff!

I agree Score....hopefully the difficulty levels and sliders will allow for these things. But we all know (from past games in this series) that if the engine of the game itself is set up a certain way, not even the best sliders in the world can change things.

I still have faith....I've seen far too many pre-release vids in my day to worry too much. ;)

The thing they are talking about, is in 2004, every single player always went for the big hits. They arent saying theres gonna be no agression in this game.

If they keep the clutch and grab, they either need to make it actually grabbing and clutching rather then hooking and tripping. It gets annoying when I'm trying to get the puck out my zone and theres 3 guys hooking at me.

The game has sounded interesting, but videos I've seen so far of gameplay suck. Hopefully they have been on rookie or something.

I couldn't agree more. Sounds great when you read about it but the videos (gameplay) have been real let-downs.
