Hi there.

Would anybody happen to know if a custom tournament mode is supported in NHL 2005?

I've always wanted to pit teams from the NHL against those from the European leagues in one tournament, and I could never understand why NHL 2004 did not have this option available.

It appears that you are correct. Viewing the "Modes" video taken by Avman33 at the NHL Community Summit, from the looks of things there is no option for a custom tournament in NHL 2005. It's a shame if this is so.

Even in NHL 2004's case, it seems like such a simple thing to do, to just make teams from other leagues selectable when you are setting up your tournament...

Has anyone ever looked into something like this? Is it possible to do?

..Though I suppose with NHL 2005 just around the corner there is not much point in going to too much trouble.
