I hope someone develops a console roster editor, similiar to Flying Finn's for ESPN.

Cole, I hate to tell you but picks do happen in hockey. Open ice does happen in hockey. The open ice feature probably won't work all the time, as with the pick. CAP is a good feature, but its not going to kill you and your ego if you can't be your teams top star. You could say that this is the most realistic move they've made to date, making it to where only the real NHLers play.

I really did find this an essential feature, like I said. But I don't think there's any need for concern about it's return for 2006 - I expect they'll want to throw in the GameFace feature from Tiger Woods to more of their franchises, so I'm sure it'll be back. But that doesn't do anything for this year's game, of course.

But in the examples they have show in the game would be penalties in real life. Maybe if they did a better job pulling it off, it would have been a bit more acceptable.

What mode do they usually take the video's in. How many rules are used in the video's? The video's are used to shown off gameplay, not every single that gets a penalty called.

Well who's to say if it's acceptable or not? Nobody's played the game. And for the guys at Cyber NHL that have played it, I dont think anything was mentioned about the "picks" being a problem or even being used for that matter. And if you're playing the game, worst case, dont call for picks?
