I want to be traded
I've played roughly 30 games in my dynasty and, within the duration of a week, both of my goalies have requested trades.
Noronen spoke up first, clearly wanting more games and a job that gives him the opportunity to take over the number one spot. Luongo then also requested a trade but I'm not sure why. Here are their stats: Luongo: 25GP-18W-7L-2.18GAA-89.7SV%-2SO Noronen: 7GP-5W-1L-1.40GAA-93.5SV%-2SO Now, I don't want to trade both of my keepers. I'm thinking of trading Noronen for a weaker backup and hopefully a draft pick, but I've had no takers so far. What I'm really wondering though is that if Luongo's status will change if I play him more. He has a very low morale right now I'm hoping it will increase the more I play him and the better he performs. Hopefully it doesn't stay where it is even if he plays more. Does anyone know for sure? |

I'd defitnely keep Luongo. Maybe even trade Noronen for a draft pick and pick someone up from FA like Brian Boucher or something down those lines.

I've played 4 games now with Luongo in net hoping his morale will increase but I've had no luck. Either he isn't getting enough experience each game or his morale is permanently stuck now that he wants to be traded.
The latter would very much suck. |

I think
I will play my young goalies and trade my starter, that way I can try for an award with the rookie:)

I suppose maybe if EA put a reason why someone's morale drops like that, it might actually help. Sorry I don't know what to say, NHL 06 had an option in the budget screen where you could put money in to some aspect of the organization to raise all player's morale, maybe they have one for 07.

It appears that his morale is permanently stuck now that he wants to be traded. I've played him A LOT since he demanded a trade and he's been doing exceptionally well yet he hasn't risen by even a pinch.
I think I might just keep him on the team. I can try that morale upgrade or I can just make a run for the cup, hopefully winning the Stanley will improve his morale. |

Exactly. His play has actually gotten better since I've started playing him more. I doubt there are any reprocussions of him having a super low morale.
EDIT: I think that he can't "level up" if his morale doesn't max out. I don't really mind though, he's already a 93 and a 98 in my dynasty. |
