Does anyone else think this game is too easy for the 360 version?? I played on superstar and win every game like 2-0 3-0. The offensive AI is soo bad. You can knock them of the puck soo easily because they just skate into you. The defensive AI also lets u skate right into the slot. At first this game seemed amazing and still is if you want to play against people. I rented 2k and i find the AI is soo much better and you can adjust the sliders to make it as hard as you want. It's not as pretty and its the old controls but its a better game if your looking to do a season against the computer. 2k isn't that bad. plus they got online seasons.

Nhl07 blows, final dot. I do win on allstar, not superstar 5-0 6-1 everytime, and i am planning on upping the diff

Wow... I'm still trying to get adjusted. Last night I was able to pull off a 9-1 blowout on pro, so I'll be moving upto all-star next time I play.

Well I have been pretty dominant on All-Star, in 3 games anyway. Last night however I play as the Hurricanes against the Oilers and they smoked me 4-0. It's like it was a bad night or something because I couldn't get any plays set up and Roloson stoned the hell out of me.

...so keep playing because the computer will kick your a$$ at some point

It is a tad on the easy side. But, I'm hoping to offset it soon with slider adjustments.

Make some sliders changes.

Game Speed 0
Puck Control 0
Aggression high
Poke Effectiveness low
Player acceleration full(I put this up full and found it was slower as I first assumed 0 would be low acceleration, but it appears it works the other way around. so higher the value, the longer it takes for the acceleration. )
Goalie cover puck full, let more wistles occur too. Breaks up gameplay and doesn't end up end to end rushes that usually turn up goals.

Especially from your own end. The old pass out from the goalie to the red line etc.

I'm not finding it difficult to defend the PC really, I can get a lot of shutouts and 1 goal against games...but I'm not scoring a tonne yet.

I think we've reached the age where EA really needs to implement more customization into the slider settings. Take the old (human controlled gameplay sliders, and CPU gameplay sliders) approach that a lot of sports games use.

hm.. i dont even score every other shots in the demo :) but im getting better and better everytime i play, hopefully i can win my first game next friday :)

I put Goalie Passing at 0 and the ai goalie still passes with 3 of my players in front of him. Is it possible this slider is reversed as well?

Isn't there two? I thought there was a goalie passing and then a seperate goalie freeze or puck freezing slider.

I can't remember right now. Sometimes I get 2K settings mixed up with this one.
