Just a tally (which they should have done!):

07: 30 / 50 = 60%
2K7: 32 / 50 = 64%

So based on gameplay alone, the real ratings of these games should be much lower.

yeah .its very interested but 2 categories are not objective!!!!!

1. Passing , huh ! what is better , easy pass or inaccurate pass? I think that NHL 07 passing system is real part .

2. Skating , oh nooooo , 2k7 has very very ugly skating system for offensive and very good skating for defensive ,but the animations are still ugly too much!
EA has any out-of-the-way skatings players but motion-capture is very new and the players skating on with both feet!!!

It seems like 2K7 only get more points because they keept the crap from last year. In our eyes all that crap is , yeah crap. But we are not the same as IGN and other sites, we are special :D. And we know more about the games. If they dont update alot we give them hell. I'd give EA 9.0 and 2K 7.0 Even though 2K didnt have alot of time because NHL 2K6 for Xbox 360 came out late last year, they still focused on the wrong things.

The one thing I don't get is their goaltending score. I know they scored it by how well the goaltending is to control, but what about how the AI controls the goalie in the game. Why didn't they compare that. And besides EA wins just about every category that matters the most. Stickhandeling and shooting. The skating and D could use some polish, but overall EA has come through this year.

Ya I agree with the goalies. Who bases the game on the manual goalie control? Am I missing something, cause I never use that??

The EA Goalies are amazing this year. They reworked them completely so they look awesome, they react awesome, and they play awesome. They could just be a little better at not kicking the puck in their own net.

Although having said that, the amount of times I've seen a leaf goaltender kick the puck in their own net is comparable to playing this game...so who knows....
