Nhl 08 Ideas

1. Create-a-player: This was very porr for nhl 08 (Xbox 360/Next Gen) Ea could have done much more with this option because u only get stuck with all RBK gear but when u edit ur player u get a Green Synergy. what i would like to see is that you would be able to chose ur equipment. like gloves helmets, stick, skates, pads, bloker, cather, mask and so on.

2. Penaltys: i would like to see different penaltys called in this upcoming nhl title. i get mad when i see that i get a tripping penalty all the time or elbowing, rouging and so on. i'd like to see cross-checking, boarding, goaltender interference and the delay of game (goalie out of crease covering puck and players/goalie shooting it over the glass/boards)

3. Milestones: this was a greate feature on nhl 2004 for PS2. i loved when jim said "wow he just scored his first nhl goal" or whatever, and like during the game they would say if a player like gonchar they would announce "he only needs 2 points too reach 600" and what not. i hope they put that back in 08. it made me want to play the game more.

4. Goalies: i liked the motion capture idea from Dave littman that he did with auld. but with the lively rebounds. wow their are some really really ugly goals in this game. i hope they fix that for 08

5. Downloads: I think most of u if not everyone here will agree with me that not being able to have the new Buffalo jerseys was kinda dissapointing. i think that if something new comes out during the season they should either put it up for download or put it on marketplace so that we can download it.

6. Online: I hope EA fixes this. when i play someone online and i'm winning, they quit early and they don't get a loss and i don't get a win? but thats just one thing. i hope that ea adds in like leagues and what not too.

I would love to see updated cybers for all players. It looked like they started, then got lazy, especially on important players like mike fisher of the ottawa senators.

Also, developing cyberfaces would be awesome! Like for playoffs, have the players gradually grow beards! Would never happen for years, but it would still be really cool...

2. How about some Custom Soundtracks so that we can put our own music or goal horns in 08
3. Better Presentation
4. more animations(skating,checking,goaltending,etc.)
5. more camera views or options to change them like zoom and angle
6. bring back create a team

1.Much better goalie A.I. so you don't get that gay thing when the puck hits his shoulder and rolls over it into the net or he knocks it him inself.
2.A better checking system

more penalty's is a must, i mean on 07 all i get is hooking high sticking tripping roughing... wheres the slash, the check from behind, even maybe the spear?
i think u should have a temper meter like thinger for players, like the more they dont score, or get hooked and no penalty is called, they get more pissed and when it fills they hunt somebody down!
i also think that the injury tactics should get better, hip checks and the odd shot blocking... how bout clean hit concussions, knees and high sticks for stiches? this is hockey not ballet.
and in the create a player mode, i think you should be able to choose the colour, and how you tape your stick. that would kick ass, like look at ovechkin and he only tapes half his stick, where as many players tape from above the heel to the tip.
