Mogilny? I doubt they can get anything for him. The person I'd trade would be Kaberle. They could easily get some first, or second rounders for him.

The addition of Mogilny would probably end up with the Leafs receiving less than they would just for Kaberle. He's too old, and makes too much. Little, or maybe no trade value at all.

He led our team with 78 points just two seasons ago. He had 30 points in 37 games this season despite surgery. There's at least a handful of teams that wouldn't care about the price. Of course he has trade value; it just depends on what team steps of to the plate.

Or bring up some of those promising youths who've been rotting in St. John's and give Tellqvist some icetime.

We could be getting rid of any/all of Francis, Reichel, Marchment, Johansson, Berehowsky, Kidd, Fitzgerald...and Belfour, Roberts and Nieuwendyk. The last 3 plus Fitzgerald are the only ones worth keeping, but even Gary and Joe have expressed their desire to...Selanne & Kariya it to another team. =/ We'll be looking at a much younger Leaf squad next year, regardless of whether or not we have the actual youth to put there. In any case, Tellqvist will be at least the full-time backup, and having at least Belfour there will help ease the youth movement a bit.
