Stars Re-sign Jason Arnott and Jon Klemm

Arnott signed a one-year deal with the Stars while Klemm was inked to a two-year contract with a club option for a third year.

I still like Klemm. In Colorado and in Chicago, he seemed like he was always trying to improve his game, but without getting fancy.

That freakin' rules! Arnott played great last year, at times it seemed that he was the Stars best forward & Klemm was solid on the blue line, plus he is veteran leadership to help out the younger guys, Daley & Erskine.

if you'd told me at the end of the stars season, that we'd re-sign arnott, sweeney, dimaio, and klemm before july 1st, i wouldn't have believed you... plus we nabbed lessard right before we got eliminated.

whenever hockey exists again, i'll be excited. i was expecting complete hell immediately. drop billy for good young talent, maybe bring in brett hull at bargain basement prices, to replace billy on the mo-line, and you've got a team that isn't as old as it seems, and still has the kind of talent to win some games.

i'm just praying that erskine is finally ready. if he's not, he'll be traded.... but we desperately need a big physical dman. that's our only glaring hole, imo... and i'd love to fill it from within, with someone like big john.
