So I downloaded the editor and I have a little problem...

How do I fix that?

Why is it looking in that folder? Your database should be in C/Program Files/SEGA/NHL.EHM/data.

Anyways ... try clicking off the "Read Only" tab on the files in the database folder (especially staff).

NHL.EHM is "a little" more complex than EHM, so trying to find your way around in NHL.EHM's files w/ Notepad can be suicidal.
