The roster is just insane as it is. I realize this is fake, but I guess at this point it won't hurt to add a few more characters. I'd also be shocked if the game didn't ship with some "secret" unlockable characters as well.

According to Sakurai there are still quite a few characters that have yet to be revealed. New ones.

Yeah, and I'm pretty sure he's said that all the characters from the first game will always be in the game.
