Poll Best potato chip flavor to ever exist (37 votes)

plain 3%
all dressed 3%
bbq 8%
sour cream n onion 11%
salt n vinegar 24%
ketchup 8%
jalapeno something... 8%
cheddar 11%
other 24%

What's the best flavor to have graced your taste buds? Yes I probably missed a bunch, but the random Lays flavors they were coming out with ( maybe they still are ) get slotted in other, they weird! And Canada has ketchup which I don't think is something that the states gets? I could be wrong though.

S&V!!!! the saltier and vinegary they are the better!

Kettle cooked or go home.

Salt and vinegar and BBQ tend to be my favorites. Although, I don't eat potato chips that often, but if I did I go with those ones.

Sour cream and onion is a favourite for me. I also like onion and cheddar, and I enjoy spicy chips as long as they're not sweet as well. Kettle is the way to go.

Miss Vickies sweet chili and sour cream is hard to beat for me. Canadian brand of kettle chips. they have a few flavors i'd put above pretty much every other chip.

ooh those are awesome. definitely one up on the classic sour cream n onion. well worth the extra cash to have these.

@R4gn4r0k see, those are some crazy flavors. not sure I've seen any of those here in Canada. sweet thai chili sounds good though.

Salt & Vinegar, all day, preferably kettle cooked. Aside from that, Dorita's OG Nacho and Cool Ranch are marvelous.

I don't think they count. Mini Cheddars are like savoury crackers/biscuits. My favourite Mini Cheddars is Red Leicester flavour, the cheese is so strong.

Lay's ketchup. I was surprised when I heard they don't sell those in the States.

I have been to China, where Lay's has almost hundreds of flavors. Almost every famous Chinese dish will have a corresponding flavor of chips. that's incredible

Generally Salt and Vinegar. Also like Cheese and Onion and BBQ of some sort. Thai sweet chilli is also nice with beer :). Really the only flavour of crisps that makes me go Blech! is Prawn Cocktail.

Keoghs Deep cut S&V is my go too when i can get my mitts on them. Also hard to beat Tayto. Their standard S&V is better than most "luxury" crisps (though only the individual bags. The ones you get in a 6 pack are still good, but not as good for some reason).

Sour Cream and Onion, Cheddar, and if I luck up, Buffalo Wing Flavor. There used to be a version that Ruffles had of Buffalo Wing before they switched it with those wavy types, they, at least as I remember, tasted better.

For years I though nothing could top Chili Cheese Fritos, but I think Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos are the top seed now.

Plain is probably the most versatile, but it seems like everyone is going crazy with flavors these days.
