I grew up watching my dad do yoga. So I know a little bit. Highly recommended, but it's been a long time for me. I'm gearing up though! How about you?

Nope -- and I have no desire to try it. I suppose that stretching and doing poses can help, but a lot of yoga has spiritual lessons as well. I don't want to get involved in a spiritual practice, because I already have one.
I did a hot yoga class just before the first corona virus lockdown, there is a studio right across the road from me now so I plan on joining that next week along with my usual gym routine.
I do DDPY it's not your momma's yoga. I would never see myself doing yoga but DDPY is yoga but without the meditation. It's cool and you can jack your heart rate really fast by getting into the zone. I would never do traditional yoga.
As a weight trainer, I still carry on yoga. When I had lower back inflammation, my doctor enjoined me to do yoga on my rest days. Sitting at my desk for too long, I had dull pain where I could not lift. At random, I suspended my weight day tired out mentally that I could have had gains sooner, if not for this. Before bed I did them every night until I relieved it, and so at morning I could get back undisturbed.

Think I've done something similar. Basically power yoga. Great workout.
