Wondering what people think of the cancellation of Feedbackula
@Iszdope: You need to get off your cave man XD You don't even recognise GS's shows? =P
@FakeMythology: In one hand it was semi-entertaining and a good (best to say "accurate") display of the state of our community. On the other hand, creating a show to insult users who insult staff is childish and could only end badly...which, again, fits Gamespot, so meh...
Canceled!?
That was the only Gamespot webseries I actually enjoyed and kept up with on a regular basis. THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS!!!
@foxhound_fox: Johnny announced it like a month ago...how can you follow it regularly and not know? =P
Feedbackula was the only Gamespot video/article I frequented. Outside of the forums, I don't read/watch anything on Gamespot.
Gamespot lost a lot of hipster street cred with this move.
But otherwise I enjoyed the show, a shitload better than most of what GS pumps out.
Didn't watch it, didn't like it, don't care.
Nice that you don't like it even though you didn't watch it. Unfounded opinions are the best kind.

OK, but my opinion isn't unfounded.
Well yea it kind of is if you never watched it. It's like me saying you are a douchebag even though i never met you or talked to you.
I quite enjoyed the Feedbackula episodes. Unfortunately Johnny(the host) decided to leave Gamespot and go free-lance. I liked the guy, he will be missed.
Didn't know Johnny had left GS as well.

Yeah and it is sad because the UK staff is very fun to watch and interact with and they lost both Johnny and Danny(who moved to damned Murica :P).
@johnd13: Yep, Danny was pretty much the only one I enjoyed listening to for a while, although I quite like Cam as well.

Oh yes Cam is great. I particularly like his Reality Check show - very interesting. Also, when paired with Seb they make a very likable and fun duo. Yes I watch most Gamespot shows. :)
@johnd13: True; I never really cared for Seb much until he paired with Cam. Now, those 2 are hilarious =D I used to watch most of GS's shows, but haven't had time lately...wedding preparations take a lot of your free time away; who knew? =P

I'll go a little off-topic now but when is the big day?
@johnd13: Thanks man =D And it's ok; it's going to be in Dutch...I'll be lucky to understand it myself, let alone you XD
@thegerg: normal people only say they didn't like something if they actually formed an opinion on it. Normal people don't say they didn't like something simply because they never liked it because of a lack of exposure to it.
Like why would I go around saying I didn't hate the newest episode of Mad Men simply because I have not seen it.
@thegerg: it's not a normal thing to say. It's not how we communicate in society. "Didn't hate" is a response that normal people with functioning thought processes give only when they actually formed an opinion on it after consuming the media in question.
A functioning person would respond with "didn't watch "
@thegerg: why further respond with a statement that conveys an opinion on something you don't have an opinion on then?
Why not just leave it at "didn't watch"
@thegerg:
Why not just leave it at "didn't watch"
I specifically stated that I DON'T like it.
0/10
@thegerg: the numerous posts don't contradict my point.
My point isn't to say "didn't watch" and leave the thread. It's simply about why "didn't like" isn't normally a response that conveys a lack of an opinion.
The gamespot front page is now just full of complete shit in fairly pathetic attempts to compete with new media. Back in the day, when you had folk like Greg Kasavin and Jason Ocampo it was a news source. Now it's just pathetic in all honestly. Really, really pathetic.
Not quite IGN, but they sure are as hell are trying.
