All I know is we've come a long way with Batman since Micheal Keaton. I really think this movie let me down, I don't even know why it seemed so bad. The main thing is that some of the Villians/plot didn't even make sense this time around and I really didn't like that car chase. Movies seemed to be going along and the new Dracula movie/mario are some of the Films I look forward to seeing.

Back on topic the movie didn't sit well with me. Some people hat Chris Nolan's last one for "Bane" and I don't even know. I liked that one thought it's just it was so tacky.

Please give your opinion of "The Batman"!

I liked it. The noir detective action, soundtrack, atmosphere all quite good.

It was alright. I don't think it made a big impact just because it was another retread over what has already been established more than once. 1989 Batman is still my favorite. Nolan's movies are great for OST and cinematography, but I hated Bat Bale. When your Batman growls so much he has a comical lisp and is hard to understand, that's a problem.

Not in a good way.

Love the style, but somewhat forgettable, as in I don't remember much of it.

@one_plum: Have to agree with this. It was cool to finally get a noir-ish detective story Bat movie, and it was pretty well made, but also fairly standard stuff. A movie I enjoyed but probably won't watch again.

It felt like two different movies during the first act with being a detective movie and the near the end it turns into a Batman film with action. Overall I felt it dragged on with Catwoman and having three villains rather than focusing on Riddler. Haven't seen it since then in theaters which I nearly fell asleep which I never done for a Batman movie before.

It was a very meh movie. I would have never bothered to watch it if it hadn't been on one of the streaming services I subscribe to already. Nothing about it was noteworthy other than how unnoteworthy it was.

I liked it. The movie felt more grounded and down to earth than all the previous Batman movies. The way Batman never kills but still on occasions utilises excessive force in the fights makes me feel like the movie is a product of it's time and sends a message to the viewer that it's a pathetic way to treat a person even in those situations that the Batman was put in.

I liked Bale as Batman best so far. There were a couple of things I liked about The Batman, but the villain was horrid and cringey, and the plot was kind of dumb. I thought the car chase was one of the better parts I guess.

They turned off the lights for nearly the entire movie to the point where you could rarely see anything. It was like The Long Night (Game of Thrones), but for 3 long ass hours. The movie was also relentlessly grim next to no fun.

It's too bad really as I was really looking forward to it, but by the time I was walking out of the theater I knew that I never needed to see it again.

I'm utterly bored with super hero movies. As with watching politicians talk, at one point i just zoom out.

If we’re talking about Robert Batman, I liked it a lot. He was a good Bruce Wayne and Batman, but most actors played a good Batman or Bruce, but none played both well except for Robert, in my opinion. Bale was a good Bruce, okay Bat. Afleck wad a good Batman physically, but decent overall. Keaton was a good Batman, weird Bruce.

My expectations were low however I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t horrible. Its like David Finchers Seven meets Batman. I’m one of those who disliked Nolans version.

This one was more true to its roots. What I really liked was the beginning as bad guys started looking into shadows when the Bat signal was on. They were scared not knowing if Batman was in the darkness.

Don‘t care for Nolan’s take, grounded Batman robs the mythos of its allure.

‘89 Keaton is my favorite, and Nicholson is still my fav Joker.

The overall story was ok not good but meh. The emo tone of it just put in a meh I'd watch it again if there are no good infomercials on category.
