Poll Where is your car from? (19 votes)

America 11%
Germany 11%
Japan 47%
Korea 16%
Italy 5%
Great Britain 0%
Somewhere else 11%

My former car was from Japan. It got stolen, I got the insurance settlement and bought a car from Germany.

Pro tip: ALWAYS carry full comprehensive coverage. If I had liability only, I’d be screwed.

I bought my 2012 Ford Fiesta from a local used car dealership. Apparently its previous owner was an old man in Italy.

I drive a Nissan currently, so Japan. I usually have a preference for Japanese cars, because they tend to be more reliable and fewer trips to the mechanic.

I went from buying Japanese car manufacture to Korea models and as of now, I'm driving a KIA Soul since 2018. Love my car and its an all-around car that suits my needs.

I think Honda has a plant in Alabama.

The transmission and engine are from Japan, though.

I bought my most recent Nissan from a BMW dealership in Florida. The records shows it was originally from NY. I'm not sure where it was manufactured, though, so I can't say where it is from.

That stated, Nissan is a Japanese--ish brand. I mean they are Japanese, but I believe their in partnership with Renault, who I thought was French.

All of my cars have been from Japan (Toyota and Nissan) except my current one which is from the US. I really like Japanese cars but I enjoy not paying for gas more.

honda has been solid and my wife's previous one of ~12 years was the same. would recommend

the subaru has had a few small glitches but no major mechanical issues.

Did some research. My Pathfinder was almost certainly made in Tennessee. So my Japanese-ish brand car was made in America. I answered the poll to reflect my car's origin as America.

That stated, the Sentra was made in either Japan, Mississippi, Mexico, or Russia. That one is less certain w/o digging more.
