Poll Yay or Nay: frozen pizza? (22 votes)

Yay 55%
Nay 45%

If you had asked me this a while back it would be a solid no. But I have succumb to cheap frozen pizza and I enjoy it. It's not bad at all. I guess it depends which one you get. But make no mistake, real pizza will always be best.

What about you, OT? Are you a yay or nay on frozen pizza?

It's alright. Still much prefer freshly-made pizzas, but it's alright for my bi-weekly stockpiles.

Frozen pizza is quick lazy food. While it will never surpass real and fresh pizza, you can go a lot worse than frozen pizza.

I've never had frozen pizza. Still, it's cheap and junk food so I'm sure it tastes good.

They're alright. I'll take fresh pizza over frozen. Sometimes I'm not in the mood to cook and they're an easy fix. Always have at least one in the freezer.

@SOedipus: Yes, when it comes to frozen pizza tend to prefer smaller thinner ones.

The larger ones have a tendency to either turn into a puddle, or just a huge mountain or cheese.

Frozen pizza is one of those strange, magical foods that is better when it's leftover and reheated the following day.

Nothing can beat fresh, but honestly there are some good frozen brands out there. Even the Safeway brand frozen pizza is pretty good.

I mean, everything in context. For being a frozen thing, it's not half bad.

Not a fan to be honest, but for a quick bite I will have it. It’s not often I have it but sometimes I will add a few toppings myself. Extra cheese, pepperoni, green peppers, etc ....

If it keeps me home safe virus free then yay. Nothing great about a fresh pizza you can't taste.

This is as subjective as the kinds of games you enjoy. Same for pizza restaurants, just because it was prepared in a kitchen and cooked before served to you doesn't mean it's gonna taste that great to you or be made of any better quality ingredients. There are plenty of pizza chains that I absolutely hate including Papa John's because that is very cheaply made pizza with marinara sauce and I hate marinara sauce. Likewise, even small local pizza businesses can be hit or miss.

Chain wise, I like Greek's okay and Pizza Hut's thin crust but their regular crust is greasy and makes me feel queasy afterwards. I like making my own at home personally. Frozen wise I think California thin crust and even Totino's is pretty good but I prefer to dress it up a little bit as the toppings are a bit lackluster.

Neutral. I find frozen and fresh pizza to taste completely different, even if the toppings are the same.

i used to be a big fan of goodfellas frozen peperoni pizzas one of those and a garlic bread used to be a nice friday treat for me.

but for the last 3-4 years they have turned to muck. all those "improved recepies" were just them cheapening out on ingredients :(. i havent had one in quite a while though. maybe they got better.

i also used to just get a plain cheese frozen pizza and get some really nice pepperoni to put on it before sticking it in the oven. man that was good.

fresh pizza is the best of course....should go without saying.

I don’t mind it for trips or weekends away staying at a cottage or hotel suite, or food while drinking/partying, but if I’m at home I’ll usually just order a real pizza or make one myself.

The point of a frozen pizza is when you don't have money for a real pizza. And well, any pizza is good to me.

I haven't had frozen pizza in years though did recently get some of those mini pizzas for my toaster oven and they tasted like garbage. I rather have a fresh pizza from Pizzahut or Dominoes than a frozen one since those pizzas have really gone downhill.
