Promising. Ground transitions still look hokey, but they've got a lot of time to work on it. I just hope it's not like the real UFC and solely focused on striking . I keep hearing that we could be seeing a demo as early as the end of this summer. Should be interesting. I've been waiting for a good MMA game since PRIDE's US game came out (and before that, forever). That game wasn't even great.

Yeah...did you play the old one on dreamcast? It was ok, but the ground transitions were goofy lookin to. I used to love the ground and pound. But I don't remember too many submissions. I loved it when Rampage slammed him in that Armbar attempt. I can't wait for this one. And considering it's not like boxing, and all the fighters fight under UFC, we will get the entire roster. That's sick having 85+ fighters. I wonder if they had a career mode where you could change weight classes and all? I would take BJ Penn and run the tables. If they made this right, I would give up Madden! With online play and the works.

OMG. I can't wait. That trailer was nasty. I've been waiting for a damn UFC game forever on next gen. I agree with Rob, that was tight when Rampage slammed Griffin when he was in the arm bar. This game cant come out soon enough

I know. I think it looks pretty darn good for a first next-gen outing to….I mean look how long EA has been doing Madden, and they have yet to capture “true-football” in many peoples opinion. I think they are doing the right things.

I noticed the Muay Thai clinch to, and it looked good when Forrest gave him a knee to the noggin. Most importantly, when was the last time someone showed you actual game footage, for a game that was so far out? I believe the guts they showed to do that, prove that they are going to have something special here.

Shanker is out at the UFC event today. He's supposed to check out this game there and will have impressions. I'm pretty excited to see what he has to say about it.

So am I, I'm still kinda gushing at the possibilities a career mode could bring. I think they definitely have the right studio working on it in THQ though. These players I would create that won't be on the game...

Fedor, Torres, Faber, Orlovski, Yves Edwards, and probably me...lol...if I could focus on training without having to worry about money, I would definitely give it a go!

I saw the full match video at IGN and I must say it broke my heart. Way too reminiscent of the old UFC games. Obviously this is extremely early, but I hope they get more work and tweaking done. The graphics and presentation are amazing, though.
