Unless you setup a private LAN connection that is... other than that, there is no offline mode... Edit: I forgot to mention the new COOP mode... you can load the map with AI into your computer and go for it. If you wanna test a mulitplayer map without any players on it, open you console and type "open mapname" without the quotes... To load the COOP maps, you just need to do the same thing.
