I have played games since the release of space invaders on the NES. In my opinion, the best game is Fallout 76.
No game beats its content, its rpg elements, and other aspects of its game.

For me it has to be GTAV even though I'm sick of it to death and replayed the game a ridiculous amount of times there's so much variety in the game and things to discover especially on the first couple of replays.
Of all the games I've played I guess the first 2 Max Payne games and The Witcher 3 come on top. Fallout 3 was also very memorable. I know a lot of Fallout fans will be like meh but it was my first Fallout game and it was the strongest one for me emotionally, if you know what I mean. I had to watch a Youtube video of Megaton being blown up, I just couldn't do it myself.

I hated this game so much when I had my ps3

Good, I would hate to have somebody with such a bad taste in gaming" Fallout 76" lmao to enjoy the same games I do. 😎
LMAO
@warmblur: A lot of them were fixed.
The bug that I most annoyed with had to do with disconnect.
I couldnt tolerate 2 hours of GTA 5.
I did like GTA Vice City, though.
I'm torn between Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines and GTA IV.
They can be modded to look more visually stunning, but it's the amount of optional content that keeps me coming back. I enjoy games that have low moments in the action to just hang with your NPC friends or help people.
Sadly, I'm so used to them I barely play them anymore. I'm too busy with the Yakuza ports or the Serious Duke 3D mod for Serious Sam.
This is the second time I see you praise Fallout 76, so now I have to say something. It's one of the worst piece of shit games ever created and I can't believe some are still playing it. No other game beats it? Sure, if you ignore... all other games.
I'm also not sure why your thread is about single player when you mention a MP game. Your best SP game is a MP game you play alone?
My answer would probably be Half-Life 2.
@Litchie: Okay you may be right. The best single player could be Red dead redemption 2. I am playing it now, it is quite good ;)
When I was searching for Gothic 3 addons, I found some games reviews and read about tools like Borderless Gaming and Reshade and their usage with games. Unless I've got 45-50fps, after enabling around ten of ReShade filters, I did not expect that Gothic 3 graphics can be improved so significantly, closer to Witcher 2, if not even 3. I did not know previously, that shaders can "add" polygons to ingame meshes, objects, and NPCs to look more detailed. Not sure if I will replay Morrowind, but I've installed Overhaul and tuned it up to almost max detail/visibility range. And the game, along with ReShade, downed fps on my Radeon R9 370 to pitiful 35-40 fps.:)
