Intel HEDT beats AMD HEDT in the most important task ever

9980X vs 2990WS.

I reckon this is THE TEST people will be, I dare say, should be looking at when they are deciding for top of the line consumer grade CPU. AMD sadly fell short and even after 18 minutes could not properly complete the task while Intel completed it in 16 minutes.

In other words, Intel destroyed the competition. The gap probably being bigger than when AMD released their Bulldozer processors.

What was the task? Cooking pancakes.

Just had fluffy pancakes today. Maybe I should consider switching back for this reason alone.

@Bikouchu35: Yeah. It’s just 2K for the processor alone I think. Kinda expensive :P

AMD would have beat everybody if they had cooked the pancakes on a Radeon GPU. LOL
