Hey i have a question about sharing accounts on steam if my brother and i share the same steam acount name and are both logged onto the same acount at the same time both playing games cant the acount get banned. By the way we are both on the same wifi router.
You can't be banned for logging in at the same time, but you also can't log in at the same time. If one of you is playing a game, you will be immediately kicked out of the game when the other person joins and get the error message "Steam account in use in another location."
You'll need two separate accounts if you want to play together or at the same time.
Your account won't be banned. The most you guys can do is play LAN with eachother, but that's about it. Unless you just take turns playing online - then that'd probably work fine. You can also play any SP game at the same time.
