How did you play Ghost Sushi?

Still have to play it I'm afraid.
Which combination would you recommend?

If you have a 4K HDR TV, definitely the regular palette.

As for the VO, it's a personal preference. The Japanese dub is more authentic but there is a lot of reading.

I went with "Regular palette, Japanese dub" as it was meant to be played just for the first time and once I'll beat the game, I'm going for "Kurosawa, Japanese dub"

I played the game with Japanese speaking and English subtitles.

Sooooo much to love about this game. Exquisite combat, massive open world beautiful scenery, no HUD, no XP grinding, no mini map. A joy to play shame it only took me 45 hrs to complete with all trophies..!!

Has there ever been a game that had subs for the foreign audio instead of subs for just the English audio? I don't play games in foreign languages because the subs are always wrong. Also, it's often impossible to read subs during gameplay.

My TV must suck. This game looks better on my TV with HDR turned off.
